The season will begin at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, then move to Noida and Pune for later fixtures. At this year’s auction, eight players sold for more than INR 1 crore, breaking previous records. The PKL has significantly changed the landscape of kabaddi in India, increasing its popularity nationally and internationally.  Patna Pirates will start their opening match on October 21, 2024, against Puneri Paltan.
