Patna Pirates beat Bengaluru Bulls to Secure 7th Straight Win

Patna Pirates have done it again by ensuring their victory in the match against Bengaluru Bulls to secure the seventh consecutive win in the season. A stellar performance of the team’s defense along with Monu Goyat and Sachin’s exceptional clutch raiding made the Pirates secure a 26-34 win over the Bulls. Winning this match, Patna Pirates have taken a defensible 15-point lead at the top of the points table!

The match began with the Bulls in an assertive position as they raced to a 3-0 lead. However, a 4-1 run from the Patna Pirates brought equivalence between both teams. The pirates’ defense helped the team to take the advantage as they performed to reduce the Bulls to only two players on the mat. However, the defense of the Bengaluru Bulls moved ahead to manage two quick and continuous super tackles, helping their team take back the lead in the game. Further, Patna’s Mohammadreza Chiyaneh ensured a tackle on Chandran Ranjit, observed by a self-out from Saurabh Nandal, as Bengaluru Bulls were again left with only two players on the mat. Patna Pirates’ defense pinned Bharat down and left the last man on the mat with no choice other than to surrender a raid point. With this, Patna Pirates inflicted the game’s first all-out, taking a 14-12 lead over the Bulls. The team further kept on adding points to their total and concluded the first half by ensuring a lead over the Bulls with 19-14.

The second half saw the Bengaluru Bulls begin with determination as they embarked on a 5-2 run, reducing their point deficit to only three points. Bulls’ Bharat picked two more points for his team’s total tally. However, the player ended up being super tackled in his next raid attempt, as Patna Pirates maintained their lead in the game.
