Patna Pirates Enters the Final of PKL Season 8

With groundbreaking and jaw-dropping performance throughout the season, Patna Pirates have reached the finals of PKL Season 8! With a total of 86 points in 22 games and a score difference of 120, the team has showcased a stellar journey, keeping the users enthralled throughout the matches played. Patna Pirates saw a total of 16 wins, 5 losses, and a tie during the 8th season of the Vivo Pro Kabaddi League.

The team has without any doubt kept the viewers hooked to the screens during the matches and bossed the whole season by proving their determination & worth.

The biggest factor to keep in mind is that the team was looked upon with doubt as it let its star player Pardeep Narwal go in this season. However, the team left no stone unturned that a game is played to win irrespective of players as teamwork is the only way to success. Winning the season is still an unpredictable thought but by reaching the finals, the match of determination has already been won! Let’s move ahead to have a broader look at the team’s journey in season 8.

The Vivo Pro Kabaddi League took place after a break of two years, owing to the instability caused by the pandemic. However, when the season was going well for the team, the Covid-19 came into the team’s camp by vacuuming through the bio bubble, causing the rescheduling of two matches. This is where the team’s consistency kept it going. Patna Pirates played a comeback match against Tamil Thalaivas and the audience went wow! The team reclaimed their domination with a massive 28 points. This was yet another moment when the team gave an extraordinary performance without the presence of the biggest name in Indian Kabaddi- Pardeep Narwal, a player who was the team’s star player for seven long years. Well, it is also a fact to note that the Pirates have won against the team that bought Pardeep Narwal for a whopping amount, the UP Yoddha.

Patna Pirates has been the most successful team in PKL’s history as all the three times it won, it was backed by the record-breaking performance of Pardeep. So, the brilliance that the Pirates represented this season was not something the team or even the league was used to, the excellent performance of the team is a clear display of teamwork and perseverance.

Patna Pirates had a top defender with the most triumphant tackles, Mohammadreza Chiyaneh with 78 points, and another excellent defender Neeraj Kumar with 50 points. Also, the only Pirates in the top 10 super tackles was Sajin C with 5. This fact is important as it tells that the team did not even get the game to a stage where they needed to make the super tackle move to make a difference in the match. This exceptionally proves the performance of the team’s defenders. The team also ended up with only one tie, as they ensured winning most of the matches and a score difference that is actually more than the best, 67! This shows that the team was not just stellar but also fun to watch for all the fans and audiences.

Scoring long continuous wins plus unbeaten performances, the team has finally reached the finals of the season, determined to ensure a comeback in the league’s wins!
