Patna Pirates Record Win Over Gujarat Giants in Full Form

Patna Pirates have recorded a sensational win, winning the hearts of their fans yet again for the champions that they are! The team has come in full form as they approach the league finals. The exceptional performance of the team has yet again made the Pirates score a big win with a high point lead of 20 over the Gujarat Giants. A stellar performance was given by the team’s left corner Mohammadreza Chiyaneh while a super 10 score by Guman Singh made the Pirates beat Gujarat Giants with 43-23. The Iranian champion scored an excellent eight tackle points and ended up becoming the fourth defender of the season to go past the 50-point mark. And, with this win, the Pirates managed to replace Bengaluru Bulls and come back to the second position on the points table.

In addition, Rajput also struck again, sending Guman Singh back to the bench. With this, Pirates got reduced to only two players on the mat. Further, the defense of the Pirates let Hadi Oshtorak use the opportunity to pick a bonus point before they invaded him to inflict an all-out on the Giants, leveling the scores with 14-14 points. 

While the Gujarat Giants began the game in authority, the Pirates finished the first half more powerful as they outscored the Giants with 3-1 in the last two minutes of the first half. Hence, Patna Pirates went into the break establishing their lead by three points.

Sachin and Chiyaneh further added two more points to their team’s total at the beginning of the second half, reducing the Giants to only three players on the mat. Moving ahead, Guman Singh tagged all the three before diving beyond the midline for a Super Raid that made the Patna Pirates stretch their lead to nine points. With an ankle hold move on Ajay, Mohammadreza Chiyaneh achieved his High 5, and Sunil picked two more tackle points to his team total while the Pirates persisted to increase their points on the scoreboard. Further, Sachin’s four-point super raid reduced the Gujarat Giants to only two players on the mat, and only two raid tries later, the Patna Pirates inflicted another All-Out, extending their lead to a total of 18 points.

Patna Pirates outscored Gujarat Giants with 4-2 in the game’s last five minutes, registering a perfect 20-point win.
