It is not surprising because it is his quick speed that gave him the nickname “Naveen Express”. With the 3rd highest total points and raid points at the end of the season, this teenager is a phenomenal player. His strategy is efficiently simple, to tempt the defenders to tackle him while using his agility and light feet to escape quickly. Since he clearly uses his strengths to his advantage, there is very little margin for error in this easy and consistent gameplay. Fans have also remarked that it is quite wondrous to watch “Naveen Express” in action as he almost flies through the barriers blocking his escape.

Ajay Thakur: Iceman

The Tamil Thalaivas’ captain, Ajay Thakur has always had his head in the game in a calm and composed manner. While he was often in the sidelines in the previous seasons and this level-headedness was not in the limelight, this season has changed a lot of things. Being the skipper at the frontlines of the game, his leadership skills also shined due to his ability to face the storms without losing his cool. “Ice-man” is the name bestowed upon him with both love and respect as he is also the captain of Indian Men’s National Kabaddi Team.
