Hadi Oshtorak: A man making his comeback in Patna Pirates

Hadi Oshtorak is an Iranian Kabaddi player who outshined his capabilities very well in the recently concluded Asian Games in the year 2018. He has been a constant player in the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League from season 2. Though he got to play for few of the Pro Kabaddi League teams, he has been part of the Patna Pirates maximum number of times and is currently the player of the same.

This 27year-old all-rounder Kabaddi player was part of winning team Patna Pirates in season 3 and 4. He started his Pro Kabaddi league career by being part of Tegulu Titans in season 2. He is an incredible Kabaddi player and hails from Gorgan, Iran. Being an all-rounder, he provides an upper hand for his team as he plays both the defensive and attacking. He is known for his signature move ‘block’. It is a real treat to the eyes to watch him play as a raider. His signature move block requires tremendous strength in which he acts as a wall between the defender and the half-line to prevent the escaping defender from being able to touch it. The gameplay of Hadi Oshtorak has always been pleasantry. This rock-solid man is always active on the mat and is full of energy. However, sometimes being super active can also be harmful. He can handle every situation very well and can play anywhere in the line. His positive attitude is sometimes the needed support the team requires in adverse situations. His one weakness which can actually be turned into his strength is his aggression. He needs to be calmer while on the mat. This will enhance his performance much more. He is already shrewd enough and makes better decisions when in crisis.

His Career Performance Over the Season

He made his debut in the year 2015 by being part of Telugu Titans in the season 2 of Pro Kabaddi League. He played 4 matches and earned 7 points for his team then.

In season 3 he was part of Patna Pirates and played a total of 10 matches in which he scored 18 points for his team with 45% tackle strike rate.

In season 4, he was part of Patna Pirates as well and his performance escalated at a faster rate in this season. He played with 100% raid strike rate and 57% tackle strike rate.

In season 5, he got shifted to U Mumbai, where he could only earn 20 points after playing 16 matches for the team. In season 6, he was a team member of Gujarat Fortunegiants and earned 18 points after having played 13 matches.

Looking at the stats, it can be clearly made out that Patna pirates bring out the best in him.
