The 27-year-old Jaideep Sharma is the defense rock of Patna Pirates. He started his Pro Kabaddi League journey in 2017 with Patna Pirates. The Patna management bought his remarkable defender in his debut season for a whopping amount of 50 lakhs making him the second most costlier player of the PKL season 5 auction.
Prior to joining Patna Pirates, he has also played for the Indian Kabaddi team and has also been a part of various national championships. Ever since his debut in the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League he has been serving Patna Pirates as a left corner defender. His dynamic performance in the debut season was enough to make the management of Patna proud of their decision. in his debut season itself, he got the opportunity to play 26 matches and earn a total of 71 points and maximum of 7 points in a single match.
After seeing his astounding performance in the 5th season of VIVO Pro Kabaddi League, the management of Patna Pirates was convinced that if they wish to once again claim the Pro Kabaddi League title, they need to keep Jaideep in the team along with other star players.

Jaideep’s Season 6 Performance:
Though season 6 was not a good one for Patna Pirates as the three-time Pro Kabaddi Champions couldn’t make it to the finals but was a good one for Jaideep Sharma. He played 22 matches in season 6 and earned a total of 58 points for his team. In the last season, he did a total of 134 tackles, 2 super tackles and also managed to earn 5 crucial tackle points against Bengal warriors. He became the best defender of season 6 and also an orange sleeve holder for hoarding the highest number of tackle points in the season.
Like in the previous seasons, this season also Patna Pirates did not let Jaideep go to any other team.
