This 22-year-old young lad with his instrumental performance has emerged from being a teenage sensation to India’s best raider by performing outstandingly well in the last few seasons of Pro Kabaddi League. Here are some of the milestones achieved by him in the VIVO Pro Kabaddi League.
Crossed 850 Raid Points:

He is the only player to have achieved 858 raid points in just 85 matches at an average of 10.21 points per match. Apart from being the record-setter for 850 raid points, Pardeep narwal is one of the two players who have scored an average over 10 raid points per game.
200 raid points in back to back campaign:
With etching his name in the PKL history as the only player to have crossed 850 raid points in 85 matches, Pardeep Narwal finished off the PKL season VI with 233 raid points and thereby becoming the second player in the PKL history to have scored 200 raid points in the consecutive campaigns after Tamil Thalaivas’ Ajay Thakur. In season V Pradeep introduced a new move to accompany his signature move called back-hop, where he would hop back to the mid-line after being held by his feet by the defenders of the opponent team.
Best Raider Awards:
Apart from setting the bar high in the category of scoring maximum raid points, Pardeep has bagged best raider award in various categories. He is the only player who has managed to score 44 super-10s, score most points in a single raid and single game against Haryana Steelers in Season 5, been announced as the Pro Kabaddi’s Most Valuable Player (MVP) in season 4 & 5 and has done 38 super raids.
Expectations from Dubki King:
As Patna Pirates failed to make it to the playoffs of season 6, the management has come up with a new action agenda to strive back with full power. And for this, the management started off by retaining their elite players like raider Pardeep Narwal, all-rounder Vikas Jaglan and defender Jawahar Dagar.
Pardeep Narwal’s signature move requires tremendous flexibility and nimbleness making him physically fit and all geared up for the upcoming PKL season. The star player of PKL with such physical fitness and strength will not only excel in his game but will also help Pirates once again claim the PKL trophy just like they did in season 3, 4 and 5 of PKL.
The expectations from Pardeep Narwal are as always high but let’s just hope that unlike last season this season does not turn out to be one man show for Patna Pirates.
The team auction went well for the Pirates as they were able to bag experienced and young raiders and defenders and thereby enhancing their opportunities to win season 7 of the Pro Kabaddi League. With good raiders and defenders by his side, the management expects the captain Pardeep Narwal to give a power pack performance and set new records in the PKL history.
